Application Main menu 

 

The application main menu is made through the following items (click over the item to see its sub-items): 

 

 

 

Button: click over the sub-items to see the relative explanation: 

 

 

	Item name	Description
	New	Creates a new button using the default settings.
	Load template	Loads a button template from a previous saved file template.
	Save Normal template	Saves a button template into a Normal file template.
	Save Extended template	Saves a button template into an Extended file template: extended templates store information about the pathname of the loaded pictures and textures.
	Save to file...	Starts the export of the current edited button into one or more picture files. See the Options dialog box section for details about the export settings.
	Export to clipboard	Starts the export of the current edited button into the clipboard. See the Export to clipboard dialog box for details.
	Exit	Exits the application.

in case 3D Button Visual Editor has been started as a COM addin for Microsoft FrontPage (see Using 3D Button Visual Editor as a Microsoft FrontPage COM Add-in for details) or as a text plugin for a Visual Vision product (see Using 3D Button Visual Editor as a Visual Vision plugin for details), the menu will look like the following: 

 

 

 

	Item name	Description
	Load template	Loads a button template from a previous saved file template.
	Save template	Saves a button template into a Normal file template.
	Save Extended template	Saves a button template into an Extended file template: extended templates store information about the pathname of the loaded pictures and textures.
	Save and Exit	Exits the application exporting the generated picture file.
	Exit without saving	Exits the application without exporting any picture file.

	Copy	Starts the export of the current edited button into the clipboard. See the "Export to clipboard dialog box" for details.

	Load image	Loads an image that will serve as a background for the 3D button under editing
	Remove image	Removes the background image

	Edit collection	Opens the "Collection management dialog box"

 

 

Reports: click over the sub-items to see the relative explanation: 

 

 

 

	Item name	Description
	Last activity report	Displays a little report of the last performed export activity.
	Activities full report	Displays a summary of all the operations performed since the application was started.
