How to create a simple Rollover effect as a Visual Vision plugin
You can in any case create a simple Rollover effect
also inside Visual Vision products using the following steps (note that the first steps are identical to the steps described inside the Using 3D Button Visual Editor as a Visual Vision plugin
Launch your Visual Vision application (the hosting application)
Inside the document enter a text, for example "Visual Vision" and, using the mouse, select it.
Press the "magic button" available on the application toolbar and select the plugin named "Transform selected text into a 3D button"
At this point the Plugin dialog box will display: here you can modify the button under editing as you prefer; and test its behaviour on the Button preview pane.
Once you have applied all the modification needed to the button in order to fit your needs, select the Save and Exit menu item: this will cause the plugin to close, passing the new 3D button image to the hosting application.
Inside the document, enter again the same text used before, in our case "Visual Vision" and, using the mouse, select it.
Press again the "magic button" available on the application toolbar and select one of the plugins named "Apply the last 3D button effect to selected text and get MouseOver state" or "Apply the last 3D button effect to selected text and get Pressed state" depending upon the button state you want to get for your rollover: this will create a new version of the button created before.
Now delete this last image from the document (it's already memorized within the internal album so it won't be lost)
Right click with your mouse the first created image, then select the "Image properties" item from the context menu.
Inside the Image properties dialog box, select the "Low res/rollover mouse" Tab and click the image icon (cactus and sun)
On the album of available pictures, browse for the image just deleted and select it as the rollover image.
That's all: it's important to note that this procedure will allow only a simple rollover effect obtained rolling the mouse over the 3D button surface. No further rollover can be created when pressing the 3D button.
