* Active Sound Studio 2.0 released *

On October 13, 2004 we have released Active Sound Studio: this ActiveX control replaces the previous Active MP3&WAV Player control; the main reason for the name change is the fact that this new version, although backward compatible with the previous one, supports many more sound formats and the new added features promote its placement as something more than a simple player.

This product comes with three different editions: Professional, Standard and Light.

Customers of previous versions of the control can get this new version benefiting of a big discount over the street price.

On October 13, 2004 we have released 3D MultiMedia Suite 2005, a brandly new suite of some of our most successful products.
Within one single package you will find the following products:

- 3D Active Button Magic 7.12 (ActiveX control)
- Active Sound Studio 2.0 (ActiveX control)
- 3D Button Visual Editor 3.3 (WYSIWYG 3D buttons editor)

The suite comes with two different editions: Professional and Standard.

Obviously, getting this suite will let you purchase the included products at a lower price: for example, the Professional edition costs only 299 US$, while the sum of the included products street prices would be 407 US$.

It's now one year that we have released version 7 of 3D Active Button Magic: it's time to come with a new version in order to add new features and to ease the use of the control.
In the past months we have collected a number of requests coming from our customers and users and we have just started the development of version 8; here follows a summary of the main new features the control will bring to the developer.

- Integration at design time with 3D Button Visual Editor: this will allow the user to visually preview the behaviour of the control in the various situations (mouse over, pressed, etc.) without the need to launch the container application; as a second advantage, all of the actual control property pages will be removed, resulting in a smaller OCX size.
- Support for cells creation: this will allow to add, at runtime, a certain amount of programmable cells: each cell has its own characteristics: size, position, picture, text, visibility, etc.
- New shapes: Triangle, Honeycomb, Octagon, Trapeze, Arrows, etc.
- Support for buttons transparency
- Other minor changes

Active MP3 DJ Studio 1.x has been one of our best sellers since 2001 but, also in this case, we need to add new features that will move this product to a new service level: previous customers gave us a strong feedback about the missing features this product should have in order to become the leader for the development of DeeJays based applications; here follows a summary of the new features:

- Support for WAV, WMA and Ogg Vorbis formats: this is the reason why "MP3" has been removed from the title of the new version.
- Better support for MP3Pro format and for MP3 files encoded with the LAME encoder
- Support for Internet streams
- Support for BPM detection and Tempo change
- Support for fade-in/fade-out management with visual feedback
- Other minor changes
