On December 9, 2005 we have released Audio DJ Studio for .NET: this new .NET native component is intended as a porting, in one single solution, of our ActiveX controls Active DJ Studio and Active Sound Studio.
Here follows a small summary of the available features:
- MP3, WAV, WMA and OGG Vorbis formats playback
- MOD Music playback
- Multiplayer features
- Possibility to change each allocated player volume and the sound card volumes
- Visual feedback (VU-Meter, Oscilloscope, Spectrum, Waveform display)
- Sound card output choice
- Support for CD tracks playback
- Support for loading sound files from the Internet
- Shoutcast streaming support (playback only)
- Playlists support
- Support for loading sound files from memory
- Automatic Fader
- Equaliser
- BPM detection
- Support for changing Tempo, Playback rate and Pitch
- Position triggers
- EAX effects
- DirectX Media Objects (DMO)

On February 4, 2006 we have released Audio Sound Recorder for .NET (.NET native component) and its ActiveX counterpart Active Sound Recorder.
Here follows a summary of the features available in both products:
- Recording from the available channels of any DirectSound compatible sound card installed on the system
- Ripping of CD audio tracks
- Saving in WAV format
- Saving in MP3 format (through the Lame encoder)
- Saving in WMA format (through the Windows Media Audio modules)
- Saving in OGG Vorbis format (through the OggEnc encoder)
- Real-time visual feedback (VU-Meter, Oscilloscope, Spectrum, Waveform display)
- Memory/file occupation events
- Sound Activation System (automatically skips silence periods)
- CDDB database queries (through FreeDb servers)
- CD cover pictures retrieval (through Amazon Web Services)
